Where can we stay at night?

Australia offers a wide range of night stays for free or for a few dollars. In order to enjoy the special and quiet beauty of the Australian landscape, many areas may be remote so you need to be relatively self-sufficent and independent.

You can stay on well-equipped camp and caravan sites, or at farms that offer camping facilities or let you stay overnight.

What documents do I need to bring?

We will need each driver’s full license and a passport.

Do we get instructions on how to use the vehicle?

You will receive a full orientation of the vehicle, its controls, appliances and maintenance responsibilities. A personal walk-through of the vehicle by a qualified instructor will be provided on site. Bonito Camper offers full-time phone service should you have any questions or require help during your rental.

How do I book?

You can book online via our website www.bonito-camper.com. Alternatively, you can book by calling +61 420 799090 and paying your deposit by debit or credit card.

Otherwise, you may head down to our office and book in person.

Is smoking prohibited in the vehicles?

Yes, all vehicles are smoke-free.

However, you may enjoy a smoke break outside the vehicle.

How many people can sleep inside the vans?

Up to 4 people are able to sleep in the Toyota Hiace Hitop Camper. Do note that the bed under the roof is slightly smaller. For more information, please refer to the vehicle dimensions at our Toyota Hiace Hitop Camper page.

The other 4WD vans do not have sleeping area inside the vehicle. However, sleeping tents can be booked as an add-on.

Can we leave our car with you?

Yes, you’re more than welcome to leave your vehicle with us. Kindly note that this is at your own risk.

Can you stock the fridge for us before we arrive?

Yes, let us know which food items you’d want beforehand. Otherwise, we can also put together the basics for you ($25 service fee plus the items’ cost applies).

Can you pick us up from the station/airport?

Yes, we offer a pick-up and drop-off service. This costs $45 each way.

What happens if we have a vehicle breakdown or other issues?

In the unfortunate event that you have a vehicle breakdown, rest assure that your hire includes a full RAC cover, so they should be your first point of contact. As it may be a simple issue, we do provide essential service items fort he RAC, just in case they need them. In the unlikely event that RAC can’t get you going again, we aim to have you back on the road in a new vehicle as soon as possible.
